Basics
At Campus Krems, a micro gas turbine for heat and power generation was integrated into the existing customer system supplied with district heating. The micro gas turbine is powered by natural gas and generates electricity that is fed into the grid of the customer plant, while the waste heat generated is fed into the heating system via an exhaust gas heat exchanger.
