Our company is a player in the construction and real estate sector and a strong partner to the industry. We offer comprehensive planning and consulting services for real estate developers, owners and users, industrial companies and international financing institutions such as EC, EBRD, World Bank, KfW, NEFCO, OeEB, GIZ and UNIDO.

Instead of handing out Christmas presents, we donate substantial amounts to NGOs, with the selection made based on how well they meet the SDGs. This year, for example, we supported Wiener Tafel, which renovated a refrigerated food storage facility, the Wiener Tafelhaus. Other donations in recent years have gone to Austria for Kenya Kids Support, Caritas ("Wiener helfen Wienern", "Schenken mit Sinn", "Kindergarten in Albanien"), Great Faith School Jamaica, Doctors Without Borders, Flood Disaster in Austria and Bockwerk-Ute Bock.

No poverty

In some projects of ALLPLAN the focus is on knowledge transfer and further education. The focus of the organized and conducted training is always in the areas of increasing energy efficiency in industry and buildings as well as the use of renewable energy. Thus, in recent years, training courses and trainings were held in the countries of Bahamas, China, Jamaica, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russia and Ukraine.

High quality education

Ms. Susanne Schindler is a member of the National Committee Austria of UN Women (United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowering of Women). As ALLPLAN we have signed the WEP - Women`s Empowering Principles of the UN Global Impact and UN Women and thus commit ourselves to diversity and equality in the company. The topic of women also plays an important role in our promotional film. We are pleased that we also have female employees from non-European countries. 

Gender Equality

Through credit line projects in 10 different countries (Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa), ALLPLAN has been and continues to be active in the identification, assessment, financing, implementation and verification of over 30,000 renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for industry, buildings and the residential sector. These activities started in 2002 and currently cover the countries of Egypt, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Slovakia.

Affordable and clean energy

In addition to the energy audits ALLPLAN has conducted in over 75% of domestic industry and in approximately 30 countries worldwide, we have been actively researching various issues since 1999. Focal points include: Climate-neutral Wilhelminian-era houses, load shifting in industry, increasing the electricity production of back pressure steam turbines, temperature reduction in district heating networks, power-to-heat including heat storage or energy optimization of existing buildings.

Industry, innovation and infrastructure

ALLPLAN has been active in building design for over 50 years. The focus is on the planning of building services, especially for urban, large-volume (office buildings, hotels, shopping centers) and sometimes very complex buildings (hospitals, clean rooms, event buildings). Special emphasis is placed on energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy. ALLPLAN has always been a pioneer in the application of new technology in building design, such as building core activation, cooling with river water or the use of buildings as storage facilities.

Sustainable cities and communities

The activities related to energy efficiency and renewable energy already described in the other goals will save approximately 5 million tons of CO2 per year. In addition, we are also addressing the issue of voluntary climate protection. We first calculate the current CO2 footprint of companies, services as well as products and develop effective climate strategies for gradual decarbonization.

Climate protection measures

For three decades, ALLPLAN has been actively involved in promoting and implementing energy efficiency measures in both industrial settings and buildings, advancing renewable energy solutions, contributing to climate protection efforts, and conducting verification and studies in the field of district heating. Leveraging our expertise, ALLPLAN's specialists have served a diverse clientele, including major organizations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank (WB), the Austrian Development Bank (OeEB), the European Commission (EC), the Association for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Through these collaborations, ALLPLAN has successfully identified and evaluated energy-saving potentials ranging from the Caribbean to China, assessed market potentials for credit lines for energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives in Eastern European and Central Asian countries, and provided support for the implementation, execution, and verification of Green Economy Financing Facilities.
