Basics
The aim of the program is to optimize the energy consumption of around 50 large service buildings with different types of use in Vienna. For this purpose, 100-150 objects are analyzed, measures to increase energy efficiency are issued and objects are selected for implementation.
By examining the energy consumption and the consumption structure of the buildings, savings measures should be identified and evaluated. Accompanying the implementation and subsequent monitoring bring about a sustainable reduction in the energy consumption of the 50 selected objects.
By using energy carefully and sustainably, energy consumption and costs as well as emissions are reduced. By increasing the energy awareness of the responsible property operators, long-term savings are encouraged and realized.
Based on the implementation of the program, significant added value will be created for the city of Vienna in the area of energy saving in service buildings. It is integrated into the defined goals of the Smart City framework strategy, the urban energy efficiency program and the climate protection program.
There are currently no comparable consulting offices in Vienna of the size and wealth of experience that offer an independent energy efficiency program for existing buildings.
